Q: How does the DELTA 2 differ from the RIVER 2 Pro?
A: While the RIVER 2 Pro (768Wh) is for light electronics and portability, the DELTA 2 (1024Wh) has more capacity, a much stronger inverter (1800W vs 800W), and the ability to add external batteries.
Q: Can it power a sump pump?
A: Yes. Most 1/3 HP or 1/2 HP sump pumps draw around 800W–1200W while running. The DELTA 2’s 1800W output (and 2700W surge) can handle the startup “kick” of the pump’s motor.
Q: Can I leave it plugged in all the time?
A: Yes. In EPS mode, the unit draws power directly from the wall to your devices, bypassing the battery to prevent unnecessary wear. The battery only engages if the power goes out.
